This qualification reflects the role of individuals who undertake leadership and management roles in the automotive industry. It is suitable for entry into senior management roles in all sectors of the automotive industry.
The course is targetted to domestic and international students who wish to undertake this course in order to access employment as an Automotive Warehouse Manage, Customer Service Manager (Automotive), Automotive Services/Repair Manage, Purchasing Manager, Automotive Workshop Manager as well as those with substantial experience gained through employment but who lack a formal qualification.

(includes learning materials, resources and equipment for practical demonstrations)APEX trains and assesses this course from the Melbourne and Parramatta Campus. These campuses are fully equipped with facilities including workshop, classrooms, computer lab, wireless internet, library facility, and a student sitting and recreation area.
The course will be available for those students who are 18 years or older and have completed Year 12. International Students are also required to have an English ability at the IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
There are no pre-requisites for this qualification.
Students obtaining a competent result for all listed units of competency will achieve the AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management qualification. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to students who complete less than the required units for the full qualification.

Qualifications awarded by Apex will be recognised by other RTOs Australia wide. Upon successful completion of this course, students may undertake another Diploma or higher qualification in the Automotive industry or any other related industry.

The 12 units of competency are delivered throughout the 52 weeks. The qualification is delivered over 4 terms of tuition.
All the above listed units of competency must be completed to receive the AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management qualification.
Assessments are conducted during training sessions and on completion of training for each unit to determine if the learner is competent. The assessments are conducted using knowledge and skills assessments. Assessment methods may include: Assignment, Questioning (Oral/Written), Case Study, Third Party Report, In Class Activities, Observations, Role Play and RPL.
Apex will recognise the AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other RTO’s, upon verification with the issuing organisation. RPL and Credit Transfer are available for students to access prior to enrolment. More information is available in our student handbook.
All trainers and assessors hold vocational and training and assessment competencies at the level they teach or assess or higher, and have current and relevant industry skills.
